Your Resume Needs Function and Form

Today most job seekers put a lot of effort into one resume. Some want it to look nice while others want to cram it full a information. Remember, your resume has to capture their attention, in a positive way, within the first 30 seconds of reading it. To much information will be overwhelming and you can only hope they are impressed fast enough.  With a resume that just looks nice, and uses fancy fonts and pictures, employers may feel you are just compensating for shortcomings in your skill set. The fact is your resume needs to be informative and easy to read.
